a little bit about us

Within one year’s time Alex and I moved from Washington, D.C. to the suburbs of Annapolis, got married and welcomed our sweet Dakota Raine into the world. This was the perfect time to begin documenting our memories and sharing bits and pieces of our growing little family’s adventures with close friends and family. Next came the arrival of our wild Nora Rose, who has thrust our growing family into a new world of adventure and magic.

A little bit of backstory: Alex and I met in college while working at The Bagel Place on Route 1 in College Park. He was a night manager, I was a cashier, and the rest, as they say… Hence the name of this blog (inspired by a print one of my best friends gifted us at our wedding). While our eight years pre-kids was full to the brim with laughter, love and adventure, we certainly hit the turbo-charge button on this whole thing called life. We hope you enjoy this small glimpse into our world as you come along for the ride.
