Alex and I went back and forth on a couple Halloween costume ideas for Dakota but since she loves animals so much (and because babies in animal ears/hats/bonnets are irresistibly charming) we knew that was the right route to go.

There are so many cute knit costumes from Oeuf, Etsy, etc. but we found one on sale at Pottery Barn Kids that was perfectly adorable at the perfect only-wear-once price. It’s size 6-12M so this sweet girl’s loooong legs transformed the pants into capris! We’re not trick-or-treating this year but we have a feeling Dakota will be perfectly happy to help us hand out candy and say hello to all the neighborhood children.
