While new years resolutions often insight aspirations for mental and spiritual growth, the coming year signifies some much more literal growth for our little family.

I’d be lying if I admitted there isn’t a bit of apprehension about expanding our family from three to four. our sweet Dakota (“Koda Bear”) has been the absolute center of our universe for more than two whole years and boy, does she know it! the idea of adding another to our brood signifies a MAJOR adjustment for her — but also for Alex and I as we begin to learn to juggle the schedules of two little ones in addition to our own.

While my brother was home for the holidays, we took a few moments to capture these last several weeks as a family of three before we open up or little family into a whole new world of experiences.
