WIth all of the plans we had for LA, I wanted to make sure we did something special just for little Dakota. A trip to the Zimmer Children’s Museum in downtown LA was just the ticket.

Wednesday mornings the Zimmer Children’s Museum opens its doors an hour early exclusively for the under 2 crowd so this was a great opportunity to let Dakota explore freely (selfishly I had also planned to drop by the LACMA nearby without realizing it was closed on Wednesdays…)

Dakota had an absolute blast exploring all of the rooms and activities – so much so that we stayed well past the hour reserved for younger babies. Dakota loves interacting with children of all ages so it really didn’t matter anyway. She could have spent half a day here if we had the time.
